BMW E9 Vs. Volvo (or other marque) parts

I own one BMW ('73 CS) and many Volvos. I find it interesting comparing the cost of parts. I sometimes believe the old adage "what the market will bear" really fits the car crowd, i.e. BMW owners may be willing to pay a lot more for parts than are Volvo owners.

Look at the below. I believe these are identical parts. You'll recognize that the BMW ad is from Wallothnesch. Don't get me wrong, I am happy that they exist, and I buy from them. But I have wondered why VP, a company based in Sweden, has an "outlet" of sales based in the USA, but Wallothnesch does not, so everything comes from Germany.

I wonder if anyone has a relationship with Wallothnesch and might determine if an operation in North America might be feasible.

Thank you for doing this. I don't know how to use AI (Gemini) to get answers like this. I've heard that some answers are unreliable, but in this case it points out pretty verifiable differences.

I'm still interested in understanding Wallothnesch better.
