FS. 2002Tii Calipers

If I remember correctly, the 2800CS front brakes were shared with the tii....
So - these calipers would fit both the early CS (2800 variety) as well as tii's....

the calipers are the same on a tii and the 2800cs ... so they aren't going to give you any advantage unless you buy a set of spacers from @halboyles and put vented rotors on.

Is that correct picture? Four piston calipers from factory, but you might have found an interesting interchange if removed from a 2002tii.

Not sure because they came from my Son's inventory along with a pair of Tii hubs.
As the story goes 40 years ago a man stopped at the used car dealership I was working at and wanted to sell an orange 2002 Tii which he drove in with.
I was very busy so I took his phone number and told him I would call him after work. As soon as I got home I called him and I was too late he sold it o a junk yard nesr by for $500. He told me where the salage yard was so I called my son and he and I went to the junk yard thinking it it might still be open. The owner was there and I asked about the Tii that he bought and what he paid for it. We came to a deal where I would buy the car for $500 and strip the it and return it to him once we took what was valuble and worth taking. Also there was a binder with many receipts for parts e had installed.
So that is how we came to get the parts. My generous son stopped to help a Tii owner who was broken down and offered him all the parts he had for the Tii at no cost.
So I hope I can sell them on the forum.

Looks like reare E3 or rear 528 calipers?

Any manufacturer's marks (Ate, Girling..)? Wire clip retainer more typical of Girling.
Looks like hydraulic fitting is single at the side, reminding me of earlier calipers such as single line 1800/2000.
Wasn't an early 2000 tii was it?
