As far as I know it is original. Mario Langsten at VSR 1 sourced it from England when we were converting my car from the original setup.

No worries. Either way the price is right.

It is worth noting however that the reproductions are made in England by @daddywad. The originals have visible casting imperfections that the reproductions cleaned up. I can’t spot all reproductions, but I can definitely spot something based on an original casting.

FWIW’s I have the reproduction manifold from @daddywad and it is exceptionally well made. It also performs very well inside my black and yellow storage bin.

You couldn’t piece together a new kit at your asking price!!!

I wondered that too. If original it's the later alloy one? I have an original steel one.

I did an S38 conversion.

on identifying the original by flaws, I have the repo, it is very nice, but it had a few flaws in it, so I fixed them and repainted, same could happen with an original, or maybe they are more large scale than I am imagining?
