Seat belts not retracting

Neither of my front seat belts retract is there something I can do to fix this?

Thank you I have two parts cars a 74 and a 72 I haven't had time to check them yet

E3 seat belts, through the early 72 model year, were non retractable made by Klippan. If yours is equipped with these, the only way to have retractable ones is to replace them with newer OE ones or aftermarket.

I have a 72, which was optioned with autoflug retractables from the dealer

My 72 (July of 71 production) had the Klippans. I doubt that many retained the Klippans for 50+ years. They were not much fun to adjust for different sized people.

I have a 71 Bavaria 2800 and a 73 Bavaria both have retractable belts

My 1970 2800cs has Klippan seat belts. I plan to replace the the 56 year old webbing for safety.
