For turn signal lenses, front fenders, are there lower profile lenses vs what I have on the '74? Did the CSL use something different? They seem to look more aerodynamic in pictures.
And yes, I am bored and have the cabin fever, blowing a gale here today.

Yes, the euro version has a lower profile that the US version by about an inch. I changed them out on my car a few years ago. There was also an Italian version that was clear and amber made out of unattainium.

If you want to put some excitement in your day, call up Carl and price out the euro lenses. That will get your blood pumping.

Orangener knows a guy that can make the clear version very modestly priced, IIRC
And he might also have a lead to the orange euro version.
I like them much better , too :)

I like the slimmer lens and swapped them from our Barn Find and a previous parts car.

But they are virtually indistinguishable from the fatter one's.

I must be in an advanced state of terminal Coupeitis.

Re lenses

I purchased euro lenses from Eric at Coupe King last year and there is a
definite lower profile, i had to shave the reflectors down to make them fit.
But they look way better imo. Merry Christmas to all

Ah yes,
The "coupeitis" is especially bad for us in the northern latitudes. Get to stare and contemplate dumbly as the storms whip around us. Have sent a PM to Andi, and thanks to all for answering to a question that I should have known the answer to by now! Always a pleasure to learn... anyway...

+1

wow, yes, i can understand that feeling, going downstairs, to take a look to that beautiful shape of the car completely frozen in movement as the outside weather is providing you with more water than what you will need in months

interesting enough to arise old knowledge as this particular issue on turn light signals

thanks
