Hey Guys,
Please excuse this but I thought there might be a Z8 Alpina lurking out there, A friend of mine in Europe is searching desperately for an Alpina but won't buy a Black car or one with a Black interior. OK........so he's quirky.......If anyone knows of one, PLEASE call Mark Starr at 914 217-4817. He is ready to pay TOP DOLLAR for the right car. Just need the right car.......Thanks guys........

Surprised Top Gear dissed it so much. I have only driven a Z8 once and kept it below 100, but I really liked it (with the M5 engine and a 6 spd). It does not have a standard LSD believe it or not, but the major concern when buying a preowned one is frame deformation in the front, probably in part due to using run-flats. Fixing this on this aluminum bodied baby can cost major dollars. They went for $130K new and still routinely go for $100-125K. Not much depreciation here. And I was hoping to pick up an 8 year old one for cheap.

I have seen every one for sale in the US. That is not an Alpina but I appreciate the lead. I have driven and owned several. Not as bad as what is said about them but no where near the character of a 3.0CS!!!!
It's not for me but for a friend. I know..........less HP and an automatic........I know........Hey, I'm just trying to help him out........Thanks
