Hi Al,
I'm headed down for furniture market in High Point tomorrow for a few days, and might be able to get up your way...need a few things; some window switches, maybe bumpers, etc...Can I call you? drop me a PM if that is possible.

Wood trim

I need some interior wood trim pieces. I'll take the whole set if you don't want to split it up.

Here are some photos of the blue interior parts, front door panels are no good, rest is OK, not great, the center console has problems on both sides...good for pattern maybe?

Armrest in blue, black, tan.

E-Brake Mount

In addition to the wood trim, I am also interested in purchasing a piece of the body of the car where the emergency brake is mounted. Depending on whether someone buys the body or whether you are going to completely part it out may dictate whether this would work. My emergency brake mount is cracked and I think the best way to fix it may be to attach a new mount to an new section of the floor (yours in this case) and then attach the new floor section to mine. In fact, your e-brake assembly, if it still works, could be cut out of the floor and I could weld the whole thing in place. Shoot me a PM or email me benji at walvoord dot net if you are interested.

Thanks

Benji

Rear taillight panel?

Hows the condition of the rear panel (the part that holds the tail lights etc.)? I need a very clean one. I don't need the lights, etc. Just the sheet metal panel.

Also, is the trunk lid available and if yes, is it rusty anywhere (typically the seams)?

The aluminum panel between the tail lights and behind the license plate?
I have on and it would look great if polished and ceramic coated

Hope, I need the body panel, not the trim

I need the big sheet metal panel that bridges the space between the ends of the 2 rear quarter panels. I don't need any of the trim, lights, etc.

This is part: 41341827340, and I can't afford to pay someone to make it from scratch.
How about that parts car up in NH?

John

Bavman, would you have the headlight switch for this car? If yes do you know if it and the dash lights were working?

Gas tank
Hood trim grills (2)
front fender trim grills (2)
drivers side mirror
Windshield washer fluid bottle
Carb linkage to rod adjuster thumb wheels screws(2)

Any or all?

That part is available from BMW. Mine was trashed and fixing would have cost a bundle.
Mario bought 4 or 5 of them .....Or I guess you could get a sawzall and cut it off the 2800 but you would need to work at getting the rust cleaned off.

What condition is the spare tire well in?
How much do you want for it?

Also, have you registered it as "gone forever"

And what about those white-ish plastic plugs that go on the front of the inside of each door
And the can shaped relays?

Mario says nla

Maybe...

They said backordered, and has been that way for some time.
They also said it's been long enough that BMW could change status to NLA.

Stan, I think you got one of the last ones available anywhere. I asked Mario to cut it off your car but he thought that was a bad idea.

Spare well is bad.....I wonder if an early e12 is the same....not going to cut the body up, shell is going to be used for a track car....

Back trim panel

I'm looking for the rear trim panel that mounts under the license plate. I want the version without the fog light cutout and it should not be drilled for the DOT style license plate lights.

Thanks
