Was replying to the Christmas gift list and had a thought. (yes, it did hurt)

I am single and can therefore spend money on myself and my toys as I like. But now that I am doing a bare metal restoration on the E9 the costs for the car are beginning to add up. And there is lots of other fun stuff I can add like sway bars, different diff, strut bar etc etc.

So I wonder which is more expensive to have, a woman or the E9? And which gives you the most back?

To be fair we can assume the woman works so you do not have to support her.

I know the board is open and your wives/girlfriends can read it but try to be honest :)

(1) I would not assume the wife works. Mine didn't after we started having kids.
(2) Wife normally = kids. Kids = $200k each as a starting point (1 kid = 1 V8 Ferrari; 2 kids = V12 Ferrari + an old E9; etc.)

my vote goes for the wife by a long stretch. However, I have siblings that have chosen the single life and it allows them to live lives out of life-style magazines.

As implied wisely before, which becomes more expensive when you try to get rid of it.

Of course, my wife and E9 have a lot of similarities, on a cold morning when you really need it she won't turn over ...

An e9 is like having a car as a girl friend. My wife thinks so.

Like buying a e9, you could find the right girl (beautiful, rich, emotionally stable, and loves only you). Chances are slim finding one that good.... So you settle for three.... Or two.... Or one of these traits. And like an e9, even a rich wife is expensive.

I do not know much about E9 topics, I just heard that trim is expensive.
