I'm looking to purchase an original CS steering wheel as shown in the attached photo. I had a lead on one from a fellow member on this site, but never heard back from him.

i have an original wood rimmed steering wheel, same one as your pic but wood rim, taken off my 72 cs, its currently on uk ebay but i will post it worldwide.

I looked for the same wheel for over a year and everything I found had cracked plastic at the base of the spokes or the bond of the foam covering to the steel perimeter ring had broken down in spots. On my original 72 wheel the outer covering wasn’t even leather, it was some type of plastic. I finally threw in the towel and ended up covering a decent Bavaria wheel (from eBay for under $30) with a slightly padded leather cover from Wheel Skins….. I’m very happy :smile::smile::smile: with the results but then I’m not looking for 100% bone stock, just a comfortable drive. ~ John Buchtenkirch

For what it’s worth here’s a photo of the Bavaria wheel in my coupe. At least it’s covered with real leather now :smile:, not the fake stuff that was on my original factory coupe wheel. ~ John Buchtenkirch
