Hi all!

Trying to assemble a full complement of tools and accessories, now that I bit the bullet and purchased the repro toolkit from BMW. I'm missing the three spark plugs. Anyone have extra Bosch W175T30 plugs that they can spare?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I thought the correct Bosch plugs are the BOSCH W7DC or the pink BERU 175/14/3A??
Can someone enlighten me on this issue?

I managed to find some 'made in Germany' Bosch W7DC from eBay before, but I am finding it hard to source the correct pink Beru, anyone knows a good source for these original pink plugs?

Thanks, Gavin

Pink Berus are luck and happenstance.
I was fortunate enough to score 3 when I bought some origninal tools on Bay. Very lucky find.

My car came with 175T's in the tool kit (also stated in the manual as one of the recommended plugs) so I think they or the Berus are what they put in there. W7DC et al came later. If you use W7DC or W8DC in the engine make sure they are German origin.

My Euro '73 incredibly still had the three pink Berus when I bought it two years ago. They show up on Ebay.de from time to time but at something like $20 each.

Thanks for the advice guys, I have put my foot down and bought a set of three pink Beru from ebay.de for about $13 us each. They were the only 175/14 set listed.
Cheers

The Bosch plugs in my toolbox have a normal ground electrode plus four, what look like shield electrodes. The insulator is slightly purple.

Bosch WG175T30 were original spark plugs for CS models, at least through 1972. The 1970 Owner's Handbook lists them as "standard equipment", with Bosch W175T2, Beru 175/14/3 or Champion N11Y plugs as suitable replacements. The 1972 Handbook only lists Bosch WG175T30 or Beru G175/14/3 plugs, while the 1974 Handbook lists Bosch W175T30, Beru 175/14/3A or Champion N9Y plugs. Note slight difference in all three Beru plugs.

The blue Repair Manual 2500-3.0CSi lists Bosch W175T2, WG175T30, Beru G175/14/3 and Champion N9Y spark plugs in the Electrical System (Engine) Specifications section.
