Hello Gentlemens,
maybe it is not direct related to our E9's, but some of you or your friends have E10's, so someone might be interested...
For sale i have genuine Petri 38 steering wheel for E10 2002 Turbo in nice condition.
The whole steering wheel set is genuine Petri 38 specific for 2002 Turbo (38cm/380mm): steering wheel, hub, hub cover, horn button, bolts, horn contact pin.
Steering wheel have 38 marking that mean it is early Petri (unlike later 838 for E12/E21), 2002 Turbo foam grip is slightly thicker than other regular Petri's & have leather imitation stitching.
Spokes/metal part was bead blasted & re-painted with primer and black paint. Foam grip is in good original condition, stiff, no round play, no damages etc.. Hub is genuine BMW 2002 Turbo Petri in good genuine condition with specific length & numbers for 2002 Turbo (even it's look much alike E9 35/38/40cm Petri - bolts pcd is different, length is different it's around 1cm longer than regular Petri 35/38cm 2002 hub), splines are in great shape & same with genuine horn contact pin that is in NOS condition. Plastic hub cover is nice genuine condition, no cracks or scratches. Horn button is genuine Petri specific for 2002 Turbo model, with only middle BMW emblem movement to turn the horn signal, unlike later BMW Petri models where whole pad was moving to turn the signal. Steering wheel is bolted to the hub with 6x genuine blackened steel bolts, with set of genuine petri curved washers.
Steering wheel is ready to run in any E10 2002, but as was mentioned it is specific for 2002 Turbo.
All photo's are real, made by me & of course show that particular steering wheel for sale.
