You also need the mating gear that is hopefully in the transmission. It fits in with the gear on right side of boonies photo

Does anyone know a part number or what its called.
Even better does anyone have a spare one they would sell

I realised I had an old getrag gearbox and the shaft is still in it. However its solid in there. Any suggestions on getting it out

Heat, lots of penetrating oil, slowly working/spinning it if it lets up at all. Might be able to get a small flathead through the thru-bolt hole and pry a bit?

I would think that the rubber O-ring is seized in place. This hold the ticker cylindrical part where the actual gear spins free within.

The round edge that you see when looking inside the drive gear hole actually has an edge to it.
Using two flat screwdrivers, you might be able to lever it out of there. One screwdriver at 6 o clock, and the other at 12 so to say, giving a equal lift and not skewing it in it's hole.

As the O-ring is likely the element that is stuck, you have to realize that it sits on a smooth surface to create an effective oil seal. While it may be tempting to gently poke a screwdriver between the O-ring and the housing to break it free, be carefull for scratches to the housing that may compromise later (re-)sealing of the speedogear. Either use something plastic, or accept that the gearbox housing may be ruined afterwards.

i finally got it out after a lot of heating, cooling and tapping around the edge. Neither gearbox had a shim in it. Where should it be located and what will be the issue without it in place

I can tell you that your guibo flex disc is installed backwards, it will come apart in short order if you don’t 180 so the arrows point forward towards transmission. What washers are you referring to, schematic?
