I've seen this car in person when it was at Oldenzaal around 2022 /2023.
I then learned that my own work was far superior compared to this csl. Which somewhere made me happy.
It was for sale at 300k euro at that time.
I was most shocked by the fenders. When you open the hood, you see this rain gutter on the sides. Normally the fender is spotwelded to the connection piece that runs front to back. On this car, on both the left and right side, the seams were fully mig or tig welded front to back, creating a 4 foot long weld. With blobs, craters, missing pieces where the heat was too much ( or the metal to thin) so the weld 'drops down'. See pic.
This makes me wonder how well the welds are under the fenders. Thus, that leaves a 50k question. And it's unknown (to me) if the panels are true csl thin gauge.
I sat in it. Grinned like a little kid.
Still, If i had a 100k to spend, or 300k, my originality OCD wouldn't allow me to buy it.
