My front wheels are flush with the fenders, but my rear wheels are slightly recessed. Is anyone running wheel spacers?
That would involve removing hub assembly, would it not? Might as well throw in some new bearings of going through the hassle.Changing wheel studs to ensure you have enough thread after using a spacer is a lot of work. Even with 14” or 16” wheels they will look fine, especially with 205/70-14 XWX tires.
Yes, I would concur. I redid my fronts and as I got to the rear to powder coat the shield it started to become clear that this was another deep rabbit hole for another day. Stay away, @D Calkins - you have more pressing matters than this onei wouldn't want to remove the rear hub unless i absolutely had to. what a PITA. that is one of those jobs that has so many, while i'm in there jobs - rebuild the half-shafts, replace swing arm / subframe bushings, add adjustability to the rear swing-arms, etc., etc.,
Agreed, just something I noticed.Yes, I would concur. I redid my fronts and as I got to the rear to powder coat the shield it started to become clear that this was another deep rabbit hole for another day. Stay away, @D Calkins - you have more pressing matters than this one![]()
