I switched from Water choke to electric choke

I decided to replace the water based carbs chokes with wire based chokes. I wanted to clean up all the coolant hoses and fuel hoses fighting for the same space. Under the hood looks much better. I also used this time to adjust the choke setting on both carbs. I found that the old water chokes were corroded and non functional. As expected this makes the car easier to start when the engine is cold.

The minute I spring a leak in that area I’ll be doing the same!
I thought it might also help in keeping the fuel cool.

I remember eliminating it in one of past cars in the past due to a corroded water port in the manifold. IIRC there was a little bit of a coolant plumbing issue to solve when doing the delete and keeping the existing water manifolds. Can’t remember.
