Is this a known thing? My glass rattles by virtue of the rollers in the runners moving around so the door closes with a rattle, there rattles over bumps and with the windows down, the windows were clicking against the glass. It's bugged me for ages but I think I have cured the issue but I could not find it anywhere on here, though I did not look too closely. When attaching the bracket of the window glass to the wheels which operate in the runners this is adjustable. I figured that the rattle would disappear if the glass is tensioned away from the runner and then tightened it would force the wheel to make contact on only one side of the runner with constant pressue on the wheels. Hey presto, it works. Now, whilst this is a eureka moment for me, if it is common knowledge with all the do it yourself mechanics, then tell me and I will resume the eating of my crayons.
