Heyy, Im pretty new owner of E9 3.0csi 1972 year with manual transmission. Car I own is pretty good condition, but I have soooo much more to do! I also own E24 635csi and E31 850i.

I once bought a 1981 635csi as a breaker, a garage had fitted a 3430cc m30b34 h-gasket to a 3453cc m90 engine. This is why the car was a breaker!! Seller had symptoms of repeated overheating. I only realised why as I stripped the head off. Very messy, burnt sticky oil everywhere

I think b35 has letter K stamped on camshaft end.

...perhaps. One thing that we didn't discuss, you can get a sense of the motor year and source based off of the motor mount. The 1989 635CSI is a bolt in B35 block with motor mount adapter required. The B34's definitely have a serial on the starter also. @posix, If you don't already have one...

...the inner seat track. here's what i would do, i would buy a set of the retractable lap belts from coupeking. www.coupeking.com. that's what i have in my 2800cs. eventually i am going to reinforce behind the rear door post to put in 635csi belts so i have a shoulder belt that is retracting.
