Well, sad to see it go (and a little lower than I'd expected... $38,250) but sounds like the new owner will provide a good home for it.
Thanks all for being resources along the way!
Justin
Hi all :
Indeed, my beloved 1971 2800cs is now up on BaT.
Some of you will remember the car, (it was for sale on the forum 9 years ago).
I purchased the car in July 2010 from Al Mendez in Laguna Beach, CA (some of you probably know him or of him). He took 2nd place with the car in the 2009...
Thanks all!
I've been up here three weeks now and there hasn't been one dry day, so not sure how much use she's going to get until summer...guess that gives me time to learn how to do more myself.
Do let me know if you find yourself in Vancouver.
Justin
Just relocated from the Bay Area to Vancouver, BC and wondering if anyone knows of a good mechanic for my '71 2800cs in the Vancouver area..?
Thanks
Justin
Just wondering if anyone has any insight on the best shop or individual mechanic to use around the Palo Alto area.
Had a great guy in Santa Barbara that worked on my 2800cs, but just moved up to the Bay area and don't have any leads in Palo Alto or the surrounding area.
Thanks,
Justin
Does anyone happen to know of a mechanic in Santa Barbara that has knowledge of the E9's?
There are a few shops in town that can work on mine but was hoping to find that "retired guy" or friend of a friend, that still might have interest, years of knowledge and not charge a fortune.
Thanks...
