e9 differential longevity with 240 rwhp?

Can any e9 owners with 240+ rwhp comment on the durability of the e9 differential? I know most hold up fine to the 200 rwhp range (a built m30b35 with an aggresive cam) but most on this board aren't putting down a lot of power beyond the 200 rwhp mark.

    "Mad Max's " S54 powered E9 project

Hi Brendan, did you use a 2002 booster to clear the individual runners you fab'd out of the old s54 box? Did you modify the e9 brake booster support in any way? Some of the old pics in this thread are broken so trying to see them again for reference. thanks!

    1974 3.0 CS Electric

This is a really cool build! Unfortunately, most of these r&p conversions are going to have bump steer if the e9 OEM control arm setup is maintained. That's why guys like Brenden ended up fabricating a new k member and control arms. I looked at the Golf rack noted in this thread as well, and...

    TII brake booster feel

For those of you who have used the TII brake booster (sometimes used in an s38 swap for space reasons), can you comment on the brake assisted feel? Is it adequate or does it feel pretty weak?

    My dad's 2800cs

Long, overdue update. I couldn't pull apart the 1993 m5 as I had hoped. It seemed like a waste of a car. So I purchased an s54, knowing it would be a lot more work to build a custom k member and rack and pinion. Terry Conners has continued to be very helpful as he always pushes me to do things...

trying to locate some replacement metal

If anyone can point me where wallothnesch sells the area right under the seat that sits on top of the floor plan and elevates the drivers' seat, let me know. My fabricator says mine is rotten and I'd rather buy a replacement than have him build one from scratch. Thanks.

Can someone share any pictures of reassembling the e9 sub axles into the rear A-arm? I understand a press is needed, but some pics would be really helpful.

    2800CSA Restomod in Oz

Awesome build. Since you went with an e28 rear subframe and differential, how did you attach the differential mount to the coupe body?

    complete interior overhaul

Hi - if someone would be kind enough to email me a complete interior invoice, I'd appreciate it. I know there is a wide range, but seeing an itemized invoice would be useful as I help my dad move his project along.

Teahead, I'm going to chop the hell out of that engine bay. There will be skid marks when I mush the s38 in ;)
