Much thanks to Norm for tracking these down .
Don--I see the 2 on the firewall next to the hood latches I have the OEM plugs there. I recall plugging the hole in the bottom of the spare tire well that was a much smaller hole. Please let us know where to look for the other openings for such a large 1 3/8" diameter plug. Thanks, DrewI’ll have Nick do a count- 3 in trunk, 2 at firewall.
we will get a firm count.
Ditto - if another bulk order is made, please count me in for 13 (or whatever the decided quantity is). Perhaps I should go take a look at my bare chassis in the garage and count up the holes... I could add to @eriknetherlands count above. It looks like you will have run out long ago from posts above, but if there is another run I would love 20
I took a quick look at the car this morning. I can confirm the (9) holes that @eriknetherlands documents above. These holes are measuring about 34.8mm on my car, which relates to the 1 3/8" that these new plastic plugs will fill. In the firewall, I only see (2) more holes at this size. Firewall, near the top, one on each side. There is another hole below the one on the left, but it is a smaller diameter.3 in trunk under parcel shelf:
1 in spare tire wheel well :
1 in left front floor:
1 in right front floor (in the middle of the pic)
1 left rear floor (under rear seat; here the left-right support under the rear seat is removed.)
2 in the fire wall, just forward of the hood latch brackets.
in left pic it is still in place and right a pic when plug is removed (just for clarity). There is also one on the other side
I come to 9 only, but i haven't disassembled my front end yet.
I don't know of any others; Anyone knows of different ones?
Ah, I see Erik did capture these. Guess that puts us back down to (9) holes. The holes on the right (below and outboard of my bent drain pipe) are for AC, yes. The 31.7mm hole is on the left, though. In looking at my photos, I think the 31.7mm hole was for a portion of the wire loom, and the smaller yet hole below it was the speedometer cable. I could be wrong.Erik shows where they are. Those smaller holes are for A/C pipes.
