14" FPS Alpina style wheels?

Hi all,

Did the E9 CSL come with 14" FPS wheels as standard? I have a set of 14" 20 spoke FPS wheels but struggling to find out which BMW model had these fitted at the factory and if they were standard or factory options.

Not in the UK. The CSL came with 7x14 Alpinas.
The 6x14 FPS were fitted to the later CSIs and higher Spec e3, some e23s some early e24 and early 5 series.
BMW chaged to the similar 6x14 but with ridged spokes some time in the late 70s

Always with black centre from the factory.

The e9's (3.0 CS only model imported) came with this wheel design in the US for the 1974 model year cars.
