15 inch Alpina look wheels with free shark

Not sure of the brand here, although they could be O.Z. like mine given the grey insert color. They seem fairly rare, I haven't seen another set come up for sale in the 2 years I've had mine despite an ongoing ebay search.

He just bought this car on craigslist. I was in communication with the seller to come see it, and it was gone before I could make it. Original seller did say he wouldn't trade/sell me just the wheels.

How much was it listed for on Craigslist?

So he just bought it from CL and makes this claim in his Ebay listing?? Very honest guy.

"This 630CSi is part of my personal collection of classics, all of which are being offered for sale due to loss of lease as of August 31st, 2015!"

$2200

Seller also has a nice set of Style 5's, so I was surprised he didn't want to take these wheels off and sell them separately.

I was figuring it was a free car with a nice set of wheels for my project e9, but I waited too long.

They are nice wheels but not worth anywhere close to $2,000. I think you ended up winning in this case not buying the car. Also, the width and offset may not have been right for the E9.

Yeah, I wasn't planning to offer anywhere near asking price for the car.

This, on the other hand, would be a killer engine swap in the project e9:

My only concern would be all engine internals seem to be original based on the ad and boosting on a 30 year old engine with stock internals just seems like a recipe for disaster.
