16 x 8 BBS style five wheels

16 x 8 BBS style five wheels offset 23 on a 72 Bavaria???
Anyone know if this will work?

And or if anything I think the front strut housing may be a problem. So wonder if anyone would want to trade two 7” for two 8” for a staggered setup???

If you're talking about the 16x8 e38 style 5's, I ran those for years with 225x50's all around. For the particular tire I ran, I had to use a 7mm spacer to clear front strut. Since my car is lowered, I had to be careful to not fully crank the wheel when making sharp turns entering/exiting driveways. Otherwise I would rub and pull the fender lip (non-rolled). Other than that, no clearance issues. Hope this helps.

Here’s a picture of mine. Currently have style42 17” is20 on it.
I think it woul ride nicer with 16”
And style 5 would look good.
