I actually think this could be a good deal for someone.

Pros:

  • CSi
  • Pretty decent body. With rocker covers off, looks OK? See no fender blisters either.
  • OK interior
  • Has the front bumper (on the BHCC website shows it)
Cons:

  • Rebuilt title (I think it's a theft recovery). Not THAT big a deal on an old car.
  • Engine doesn't run? There's no keys/ignition switch (thinking theft).
  • Missing parts (fr bumper brackets, front hood trim, interior stuff)
  • See some corrosion on the front pans and front part of the rockers
I talked to Gavik and gave him an offer of $12.5k.

He talked to his boss and would take $15k. But Gavick said he thinks he can convince him for $14.5k.

IMHO, I think this is a good deal. I would seriously take it, but man, I just don't have room! I'm literally totally full of cars and parts.

Anyone in the hunt for a good project, should jump on this. I think the car can run if it had it's ignition switch/key installed.

With some cleanup, missing parts put on, and get the sucker running, I honestly think it can pull $35k on BAT or elsewhere.

I just wish I had the space.

Weird thing is, it has an AC compressor, but insides says something else.

Maybe at one time it did, but then someone converted it? I dunno. Or an engine swap w/ac comp on it??

Footnote: looks like it has chrome pissers not the usual black plastic. My 74 Italian euro coupe has chrome pissers but they are little domes with two holes in each. I like them but far from original.

Wow not bad at all wonder why they only want 16 for that but want 20k for the other rust buckets that aren’t even CSI’s

Typical aftermarket AC install in Europe
Usually hidden in glove box

FYI, Gavik said his boss would accept $14k.

Well...sure is tempting, but dammit, I have no space! Then again, if I had a 10-car garage, I'd have the same issue I bet.

If anyone is really interested, I can get you directly in contact with him.

Here are few more pics he sent me that's not on either website.
