1970 2800CS in Bothell, WA

I looked at this car a few months ago. Overpriced. Sorry no great deal here. Tops of fenders are rusted through, some rust along rockers. Trunk rust is minimal. Seats were re-upolstered in vinyl (why?). Wood dash needs redoing. Exterior trim band is in good shape, interior trim is ok. Chrome is in good shape. Everything needs just a bit of attention. It's a project car, not a parts car, but not at the asking price.

And who is the go to guy for a PPI in the Seattle metro area?

Private party.

PPI for the mechanicals - look at Strictly BMW in Bellevue. There may be others. I can do body and general condition items.

Yeah and if it was fully restored he would probably be asking 20-30k.

Whats with the negativity? I think its a reasonably priced coupe, and I'm sure he's open to offers. sheesh.
 
I agree. 20 - 30k for a fully restored coupe might be a little on the optimistic side. Yet for 13k it could be a pretty nice driver.
