That’s the set up! .Haha. I’d buy a restoration from a guy with a Strada EP, a K30 and an EK43 in his laundry room
Nice flat white too!

Thanks GeorReally nice!
Fire wall forward is all stock. 5 speed upgrade. 4 speed in the trunk.
Thanks AJay!! Brought it back home on Wednesday . I’ll definitely ask him. The Air Box looks sharp!Rex,
That engine bay looks nice. Great job. ask our mutual friend about the csi airbox he redid this weekend. If you redid yours like his that engine compartment would definitely "POP" even more...imo of course... I finally found the lower rocker panel outer trim in my garage if you still need them. Is the car back home yet?

It wasn’t easy, it was hard to find the village in Germany where the factory bread them for cardinal red. LolBeautiful - it must've been a hell of a time finding 4 cows in that shade of red
Here you go AJay. Replaced the water pump, hoses, clamps, painted the overflow tank and the air filter box. Not the best picture but just excited to share.Rex,

Every time you clean something, other parts start needing attention lol.
I might have the manifold and valve cover removed, blasted and clear Coated. After reading a post and seeing pictures other forum members.

Thanks Ajay!!Rex, I may have an extra valve cover that was either vapor blasted or powder coated. I will check next time I am at the garage. I also have an extra zinc plated original oil filler cap that I will bring over. The cap will need a new rubber seal to be perfect.
Definitely need to do the clean up on the manifold and valve cover now. Once you see it, you can’t Un see it. Lol
Copy, paste, on requestRex, see if our mutual friend has an extra e9 intake that you can get vapor blasted and swap him for yours..at the same time, change your intake runners for e21 runners and get them vapor blasted and coated. The e21 runners are a bit larger that csi runners an add a tad more pep. It will make that engine bay perk up. I will check on the extra valve cover and oil cap.
Thank you Gary, it hasn’t been easyGreat job on the refurb. Its beautiful.
Chris, did you use the vapor blast guy Mike P & I use in Anaheim? The e21 runners are longer not larger, it moves torque curve lower supposedly. I am going stock on my e12 and had a spare set vapor honed.
