If you ever wanted a light E3 project this looks like a great candidate. The only thing missing for me is AC. Minimal rust, original shift knob, ROUND relays, great color combo, highly original, perfect door cards, early lighter weight model.
Now that excellent E3’s are getting decent prices this one seems like a really good buy.

I think it is a great start if it is truly mechanically sound and with no rust, but I don't think it is a good buy at $10,500. The last 3 E3s on BaT went for about $17 and were all much better than this car. I think you'd be hard pressed to only get $7k more into this car and have it at the level of those 3 E3s. Hagerty lists a good at $7,600 and an excellent at $17 (maybe a little behind the actual market). The fact that it is mostly original is a big plus, however.

BTW, what's with the argent headlight grills?

Somebody buy this. I have an entire front seat for this car that has been in my basement for 10 years.
