I just spoke to the Owner (Ed) in Michigan. I was holding out on posting this in case it was truly an Inka Bav. Unfortunately it is not and it might be a good opportunity for someone else. He mentioned it has not been wet sanded yet. Ed seemed very forthcoming and a good guy. A car guy not totally loyal to BMW and had some interesting other cars in the past.

That being said, it obviously has been painted Inka, the trunk, hood, and roof as you can see are a brown. This is NOT a wrap, he painted them brown and was going for a "rally" look as he said. I am waiting on more pictures to be sent to my email that I will post here. Rust he says seems to be at a minimum. The little bit at driver door on the bottom was addressed at repaint. There was some issues with front driver fender I believe that was addressed but not properly, not really sure what he meant by that but he said he is tracking down another fender from Canada that is close by and may have when someone purchases.

He bought it with warped head, it has been replaced and he says it runs good. He said it did not have a fan at the radiator....hmmmmmm. Wonder why it overheated, just the A/C fan in front of radiator. That has since been addressed, way to go.

Forgot to ask if it was ever in a wreck, gaps seem to be good. He does have Weber's with original airbox. He has the tool kit it sounded like )not sure about tools). So he wasn't totally clear on what the original paint was. At first he said what sounded like a green, but after talking further I think it is originally Sahara.

Again, pictures of trunk and engine bay should put that to rest. I told him where to look for sticker etc. May be fun if truly fairly rust free. Use as a "rally" car as Ed intended. He has belt trim and rocker trim. Rockers off is nice when buying the car, can check for rust, should be fairly honest. Other than driver seat, he says rest of interior in good shape. Forgot to ask about wheels, hard to tell what they are from pics. Will update if he indeed sends rest of pics.

Link to some more pics....

I told Ed I would post some more pics for him on the site. Doesn't look like much interest but got to keep my word. His heart was in the right place.

Oh, I do need help with the original color...I've said it before, I am colorblind, can see color but I guess just not like you folks. The hardest is differentiating between hues of greens and sometimes darker blues. This is not Sahara obviously like I thought it might have been from what he was saying, not Turkis, not Amazon, maybe Turf? Let me know if you can tell and I'll tell him what it is.

I had to make a quick link because I couldn't reduce photos where I am. If anyone is interested, here it is: https://inkabav.shutterfly.com/

Attached the one pic of the original color I need help with.
