Hi everyone! It's been awhile since I've been on. Hope you all have been well! Hard to think it's been over three years since I sold my Coupe.

A friend of a friend is looking for a Coupe, and he came across this listing. Has anyone seen this on in person, or is anyone familiar with it?

Some obvious issues off the bat, like the hood fitment, can't tell what's going on with the drivers side front bumper to fender, rust on the belt line, elephant skin loose in the trunk, shock tower tar not looking great, interior needs some work, etc.

Prospective owner is on the West Coast and this car isn't, so I told him I see enough little things that could be bigger issues, and without digging into it more I wouldn't buy it sight unseen. If you guys have more info, I'm sure he'd greatly appreciate it! Appreciate your time. :D

Just not enough pictures of the important stuff in the listing to buy site on scene. it's missing the rear bumper under riders.

And yes the front shock towers are troublesome, they are very close to the hood and if rust starts pushing them up it explains why the hood sits high.

It has resurfaced after twenty-five years or more, once owned by Hal Hutchinson in Weston, CT in the old paper Registry. Built July 1973, 12th VIN from last 73.

FWIW Beverly Hills Car Club has a very spotty reputation, and notoriously does not allow PPIs, which is never a vote of confidence. Given that, I’m not sure how open or honest they will be about conveying condition or assisting in getting a handle on that.

I'm missing something.

The ad says the car is in Bridgeport, Connecticut, being sold by Red Line Restorations. Where does BHCC come in to the picture?

I stand entirely corrected. When I clicked through on my phone, there were multiple BHCC banner ads SO large, it appeared as though they were representing the car!

And I was just about to jump on BHCC once again. Love the earthquake cracked concrete floor in all their ads.
