Looks like was previously listed in 2024 and got bid up to $53K without selling
 
same owner in CO selling both times. VIN 2240647. i think its a 3 owner car, 2nd owner had the car from 1983 to 2019
 
It’s funny because in some body shapes (E39 or E24, for example) I think the red looks amazing but on the E9 it doesn’t do it for me. Maybe it’s the verona vs cinnabar. In much the same way the Malaga looks great on an e9 but not sure it would work on the two more modern vehicles. So yes, not surprised it’s a slightly harder sell.
 
Verona is a bit orange and this one looks pretty orange. The earlier Granada was a true red. And with paint readings up to 40/50/60 mils there has to be a lot of filler under that paint from 1982. I was debating whether to comment as original paint is around 5 mils and a good repaint should be around 10 mils, maybe 15 in a few places.
