1973 BMW 3.0 CS fully restored - 4-Spd Manual - $25000 Craiglist Toronto

Wow I suppose you'd have to "resotore" it again to correct the trunk badging misplacement

fully restored, but kinda dirty ... perhaps partially with some tasteful revisions. (ehrrr ... questionable revisions) - like splitting the 3.0 and the cs. front bumper delete - without a front bumper. painting the lower valances black on a white car. the deletion of the chrome / rubber rocker trims. more revisionist history, (perhaps my favorite) changing the spelling of Karmann to Carmen Gia.

no money shots of engine, or of the underside ... but there is mention of a new floor.

good luck on this one ... i smell rust hiding between the lines

He needs more photos of the service book and owners manual, that is the new money shot!

Sadly, this one shows why there should never be a chrome trim piece on the trunk lid too.

Steve

This coupe's coachwork was done by Carmen Gia. She probably didn't want to be a conformist and put the CS badge in the same place as Karmann.

This is the ultra rare CS 30 with front bumper delete... only 4500 made like this.

I think I will buy a parts car then when I go to sell it, show only the owner's manual and one red handled screw driver! Ought to justify $30K...

His pal dared him to use the word "Original" 10 Times in an ad.

88000-MILES on original engine,
Original car with original interior
It has 88,000 original miles.
original paperwork.
New carpet kit from Germany interior is all original.
original motor and transmission
Original Seats
Original Rims
original keys included

Too bad the paint is Alpine White, sorta wrecks the Originality!

And when he drives away forgetting the object(s) on the trunk he can repaint it in the "original" Alpine white.
