Hello gentlemen!

Finally purchased my 1973 E9 3.0 CS (2213851, Polaris metallic, 060) in Spain in late December 2014 and have been travelling through Europe to take the car to its new home in Moscow, Russia.

Just covered approx. 3000 kms from the village near Burgos, Spain to Prague, Czech Republic, fortunately without any problems.

Some rust issues and modifications in place but plan to restore to the original condition in the near future.

Pictures to come soon.

Regards, Vadim.

P.S. See pic - the car poses in Carlsbad, Czech Republic, January 10, 2015.

Very nice - looks like a scene from a thriller movie!

Beautiful picture, but doesn't look like Polaris -- looks like Verona; when was it resprayed, do you know?

Yes, Polaris was the original color according to the reference provided by BMW, but as far as I understand the car was resprayed about 10 years ago in Spain - right after it was driven there from Germany. The paintjob is not good but we'll correct this...

Congrats Vadim on you new car!
Very scenic pictures.
My Inka used to have the same (BBS?) wheels as yours long long time ago.
And I like that black (rubber?) ring around your Nardi wheel.
Enjoy!

What a great trip. Your car should have been parked in the front of the Casino!

Thanks! Can't stop looking at her... I haven't discovered the make of the rims yet and yes, it is a rubber ring around the Nardi logo.

Love the night shots - mysterious and shows off the color. All those beautiful buildings fade into the background. I have never seen what appears to be a piece of chrome protecting the paint around the driver's door lock.

I assume it was on the car when you purchased it. Anyone else on the board know about this "option"?
