1973 BMW CSL Polaris on BAT

Interesting I haven't seen it as its in the Bay Area. Looks like a nice car. City pack but nice. It's strange its being sold as a 73 as my CSL has a vin after this car with a build date of Nov 72. Could be that it was just titled as a 73. Beautiful Alpina /Momo wheel.
 
I think there is something about the headlamp washer system on any BMW that just makes the car. I like them on the old Mercedes too. Not quite as cool looking as the BMW version, but still cool. I don't recall Porsche doing this. I know they had the spray for the headlamps, but no wipers I don't think.......

Probably built in '72 but came over and sold as '73. Maybe because the CSL took longer to build, who knows but I'm sure with everyone that has touched this car that the '73 title year is the correct for this car. Just my guess, no insider insight. Clean looking CSL. City pack doesn't bother me as I'm sure whoever buys this won't race this car, nice weekend cruiser for sure, targa's, C&C, backroad drives, etc.
