Thats what I thought. Hmm.
I saw this car in person before the auction. A pretty nice car from the top. And possibly a nice car from below, but I saw a few red flags, like some possible surface rust poking through the undercoat in the front fender wells, although it could have been some reddish dirt. The springs were very low, so hard to see up there for sure. I would want to remove the rocker covers and put it on a lift to let the suspension drop to inspect the cavity under the fenders with a borescope.
One thing that drove me nuts, was that the firewall insulation was original and looked like a dog chewed it up.
The exterior of the car looked like a recent repaint, but the engine compartment did not.
Neat build though. The white one with autokennel on BaT looks better, and I think I saw it at Legends years back.

$180K hammer price + 12% = $201,600 paid by the new buyer. The car had no reserve.

= NO WAY.
Factory ///M-technicians managed to make the engine to deliver
400 (ECE) / 408 (DIN) bhp with loads of efforts, special parts
and a HUGE budget……so I have my doubts this can be
improved further…..
