1973 USA Model Only Parts

My spare parts for sale include a sets of parts used exclusively for the USA market and are due to DOT bumper height requirements.

PN's 51111823137, 51111823138 (spring clips) or the front bumper mounting brackets extend the front bumper to meet USA requirements. These are NLA as such am highlighting these. They are in excellent shape no rust or bends.

Amazing the jury rigging that BMW did to satisfy USA DOT bumper height requirements.

BMW didn't care a rats ass about the look of the Diving Board, big DOT bumpers. Other marques did a much better job of integrating the DOTs.

73 was a DOT 2 1/2 mph impact requirement nothing to do with height
