Didn't see another post on this, but apologies if I missed it. Auction on July 5.

Beautiful car. I'm sure a great bargaino_O, especially after adding 15% tribute, VAT, etc.

It's actually this car :

So they added an extra £10K for the auction! And note it's been up for sale for a long while and the price had dropped monthly

I posted about it a while ago and there were some honest thoughts/replies on it then . I'll try and find the thread…

Here's your thread. https://e9coupe.com/forum/threads/what-do-you-think-of-this-car.30804/ Thought it looked familiar.

Bonham's estimator is drunk?

Here's a 1972 RHD CSL on the block Friday: https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/25453/lot/329/?category=list&length=12&page=20

Bonham's Est: $110k-$130k USD. Even if you're looking at exchange rate of 1.75, as it was in the "old" days, it would be ca. $140k-$175k, which still seems very low for any cleanish CSL on the market right now.

And the estimates are what led me down this rabbit hole in the first place, when I saw this advertised at $21-$28. Euro bumper Quattro Coupe or UR in this condition with history in the US is twice this, except the less-favored brackish gold ones.

Very interesting to see the estimate on that CSL. If it’s as good as they claim, then it should go for a bucket load more.

The auction is today. Hopefully they’ll public prices quickly.

No prices for the E9s, but prices on many cars. Quattro went for $36k w premium. The auction rules look like they add VAT on that total at the sale, which I think puts it in the 40s and more in line w US prices.
