1974 BMW 3.0 CS in partnership with actor Robert Downey Jr. Downey

Will they use a biodegradable wiring harness?

Or do a King Charles where he converted his Aston to biofuels (a cool idea in my opinion).

Rudy - what are you trying to accomplish? Downey's car has an ebrake handle offset to the side, which is probably to allow for cup holders. I'm not a metal fabrication guy, but I would think this could be done with a custom bent handle and a different mount to create the offset.

If cup holders are the problem, consider an ultimate cup holder: https://www.ultimatecupholders.com/ I have one of these in my coupe on the passenger side floor (and in my e39 sedan as well). You may need to get fresh with passengers from time to time, but that may not be all bad depending on the passenger.

I certainly would not install an electric e brake in lieu of an actually working dead reliable cable system. (Then again, I've actually lost all my brake fluid in a car and had to rely on my ebrake to stop).
Thanks for the suggestions I tend to feel safer with a hand brake for in case of emergencies as you mentioned. I like the bent handle idea. I still am working on all the numerous items that need my attention prior to the console idea. Today I spent the day repairing an issue with the passenger seat latch which had been rigged with a piece of wire and this was unacceptable to me, so I did it correctly. Pictures attached Last pic is the passenger door handle that need attention. thanks again

Rudy - I've done a bunch of stuff to my car, and have seen scores of member cars at various shows and events. Quite simply, I haven't really seen a console that I really like. I had one of Eric Anton's consoles in my car when he was making them and selling them here. https://e9coupe.com/forum/threads/new-console-for-the-coupe.17501/post-121835. However, it was not very robust and when it broke I started down the path of making a replacement. I was unhappy with my first attempt, and then after driving without one for a while, concluded my car looks better without a console. Yes, I still have my Ultimate Cup Holder on the passenger side looks out of place too, but it is less obtrusive than a console and easily removable.

Also, unless you have very good metal fabrications skills, I would not attempt to modify the hand brake handle and mounting point, simply because any little mistake could leave you without an hand brake. Here again, I've been in a panic situation where I needed my hand brake, which is why I say this.
