Hi Guys
I have a friend that has a US 1988 M6 Black/Grey with 35-40K garaged and calls it the sunshine car so very few miles in the rain. Purchased in Germany and imported to California.
He want's to know a price range and if someone is interested PM me for his phone#.

Nobody will comment without photos. A pristine US 88 m6 with that many miles, I would say 25-30K and then down from there....and yup I do own one.

Allow me to chime in ...... Consider a re-assessment of value.

Here on the east coast prices for good ones like this are 10K north of the number above .. . It's a coupe, and it's following the E9, and the E30 M3, the M5 lags behind as a sedan.
I have 2 clients who have recently bought pristine very high mileage cars at $20K fully knowing they have an engine overhaul close on the horizon.
One should expect this model, US or Euro to climb.
Production numbers are low, and real clean good cars are very hard to find. Plus they are tough strong reliable cars, IMO from the best era of BMWs ever built.

Ya, but you'd have to spend thousands changing out that ugly grey interior to a proper black color; IMHO.
