This is why I don’t like reading these! Before you say anything about inflation, this would be like swing a 3.5 CSL for $65K in 2019.

That’s the coupe I owned from 1994 to 2001. Bought if from San Francisco BMW. Chamonix over Blue that I converted from auto to manual in 1996.

I brought it with me when I moved back to NJ in 1999. Sold it to a guy named Marco from East Hanover NJ in 2001 and I never saw it again. I recall him saying he was looking for a 2002 but couldn’t find a nice one locally so he came and looked at me coupe and bought it. It’s not updated in the Registry so I don’t know it’s fate. Wonder if it’s sitting in a garage somewhere waiting to be found?

Thanks tferrer and Chris for posting these lists. I found my coupe 2240346 on your list Chris. I bought mine from Larry Peth in Tucson almost 16 years ago. He owned it for 10 years. Can't remember the owner before that but I have that info somewhere.

It’s not in the old or new Registry.
My CSi 2262695 was imported and owned by Noel DeGaetano. Still have old registrations from his ownership. Noel Passed away August 26, 2012.

OK, Dan added the xlsx file extension so here is the complete Coupe Registry listing from the 80/90s Newsletters. If you have a Newsletter with a VIN I have not included, send me a scan and I will add all those VINs to this spreadsheet. Names highlighted in Blue are members here or well known BMW owners.

Like Steve said no reference back that far although I do know the names of all the owners from the beginning.
Mine was not on the earlier list, due to the fact it was stored away in owners garage for 14 years, glad wife found her!
