2000CA

A very interesting predecessor to the E9. I don't think I've ever seen one of these in person; I'd remember that front grill if I did.

One of the BaT guys goes by "LongDucDong." .. one of my favorite 80's characters in the John Hughes film 16 Candles...

Imagine this: BMW keeps the entire 2000CS interior when it shifts to the 3.0CS e9 coupe. They went from First Class seating to Economy Class but kept the leg room.

Only on the UK E9s have the top wood rail on right hand drive cars. All the left hand drive cars have the vinyl top rail.

$110K? Beautiful car but it only has one carburetor and it’s automatic. The last two bidders took it from $53K to the $110K.
Must be the wheels.

It is a beautiful and rare car but IMHO the market spoke on the value of this car at $52,000 when the #3 bidder dropped out. The rest of the bidding had nothing to do with market value.
