As driven by Simon Kirby (with an RPM limiter installed and still won the race by nearly the full length of the main straight at Lime Rock Park vintage festival 2012).

glad to see they took it out and ran it hard.

a year ago BMW had it at Oktoberfest and took people for rides around Barber Motorsports. the car was not running that good that day ... but it looked gorgeous. still had David Hobbs' name above the driver's door.

Interesting because #25 was just at Laguna Seca 8/18-19 for Monterey Historics and Ludwig Willisch the current President and CEO of BMW NA was driving it.
I saw it at Barber last fall and it wasn't running very good but seemed to be back in shape at Laguna Seca.
Great to see the car being driven.
