Does anyone know of or have the "2800" chrome trunk piece? Or any suggestions on how to reattach one that has the little "tits" broken off or damaged? Thank sguys!!

You could reattach with emblem tape. It is how trim like this is attached to modern cars. It comes in various widths and thicknesses.

+1 for the 3M VHB tapes (VHB = Very High Bond)
Have had my 2800 and CS badges stuck on for 20+yrs. It goes permanent after 30mins.....you have been warned... ;)

There was a recent thread about sourcing reproduction versions the "2800" chrome trunk piece. As I recall, the conclusion was "forget it" (of course, used parts may pop up from time to time). That thread pointed out that not only do the size and font have to be right, but the shape of the curve on the underside has to match the curvature of the e9 deck lid. So "2800" emblems for other BMW models won't fit properly.

If you have an emblem that is only missing its mounting nibs, consider yourself lucky. Mine is that way, and has been attached with that 3M double sided tape for many years. Cut it into narrow strips to go on the backside of the emblem, press it firmly into place, and you're set.
