I am going to fit a set of rear trailing arms from a CSi to a 2800CS car; I have the rear trailing arms but was wondering what else I would need to fit them?

I am also fitting a set of CSi hubs, discs and calipers which I also have

The whole lot should bolt on
The only thing you may need to check is that the handbrake cables from the CS will work with the CSi setup

I am going to have the calipers shot blasted and rebuilt; I guess it would be a good idea to have the bearings in the hubs replaced?

As I recall (it has been a while) you will need the new E brake cables, you will have to bend up new brake lines and, while you are at it, you might as well replace all of the bushings.

Could you give me a list of which bushes to buy please :D
Also what do you mean by E brakes cables? I presume you mean handbrake cable??? If so, does this mean I need to buy a CSi handbrake cable as well?

You will need a total of 4 bushes, 2 for each trailing arm

E Brake= Emergency Brake = Handbrake = parking brake!

Because your going from Drum brakes to disk brakes the handbrake cable maybe slightly different, especially at the brake end.
I can take a picture of CSi handbrake cables for you so you can compare with the ones from the CS set up - let me know

Assume you have all bits and pieces for the CSi braking system

I have full set of rear hubs and calipers off a CSi; currently I have 2 caliper rebuild kits, 2 rear bearing kits. Need to get the handbrake cable of a CSi and the trailing arm bushes.

Bushes are the same for all E9's
Even your local BMW dealer can provide.
Aftermarket ones, for example Polybush, Proflex etc are available
