That looks like a pretty good candidate for a daily driver, I love the patina on the roof. Keeps it honest.
As usual no pics of critical rust areas but the dreamer in me says Arizona car is clean underneath.

This car reminds me of mine when I bought it out of Tucson 19 years ago. Everything not made of metal was cracked and sunbaked but it was as rust free as you can get.

Is the price a little steep for the condition it's in? I hope you all say it's a fair price because I have a better Sahara 2800cs but it seems a little high to me.

My take is that there is room to bargain.
  • the interior is definitely roasted, dash is cooked, seats look dry & wood is in need of refinishing at least
  • the headliner is torn
  • wiper stalk missing...
  • paint condition (we can see the roof issue)
  • No pictures of important areas given we can see (and what we can't)
  • Engine compartment looks very original, but unusual to see the rust on the top of the power steering pump and the air cleaners...is this a desert thing?
  • Top of the shock towers look good though...

I’ve seen the car at our local Cars & Coffee and it’s a nice survivor. Seller is a very straightforward fellow.
