This one is a survivor, no spine crease, no pages curled, no fingerprints. Stored in a plastic bag.

Ideal for that piece de resistance' for a proper concours package. I'll ship anywhere in the world on your account fedEx or DHL.

I'll entertain offers, let me know.

I haven't owned a CS in years, this is nice but I don't need it.

Probably a little strong for my blood...Take a tiny touch of wood glue to that dog-ear on the lower left, and it'll look even better. Leave a book or block on it overnight...

sorry to disturb, all this joyful comments IMHO, do very little in favour of the classifieds section
i tend to respect the sellers proposition, then i decide if i buy or not
i think is better, market is usually broader and wiser than my sole own opinion

@deQuincey,

I honestly don’t think these light hearted comments will deter the right buyer with a “concours” 2800CS from buying a $1,000 owners manual.

I’m sure you can think of a few examples. There are only a handful of sellers who really struggle to sell their items in under 15 days. These individuals bump their ads periodically over the course of 2+ years hoping that the market will match the (often unlisted) values that they have set in their head.

Time will tell where this one lands. I can easily see this manual selling for 2x the market rate of a “good” example. That is a hefty chunk of change for the average 2800CS owner, but could be that one-last-thing for the right buyer.

What sets this ad apart from other top dollar items is that Ron (@CS Specialist) threw a price out there for the forum to digest. He also stated that he is open to offers. These are the step that one takes when they want to pass things along to someone in need.

I’ve never seen a manual in such good shape! :)

It does seem to be difficult to find a $100 2800CS manual for us with driver quality cars. So if @Markos would bend one of his and spill some water on it, I would be interested! :>)

If you have want to sell it, I'll line up to be one of your candidate considering I would actually read through it instead of leaving it in zip locks.

Just a joke. I don’t have any for sale and wouldn’t post them in this thread. :)

After a long standing but fruitless search, I did just find an English language 2800CS manual suitable for the condition of my US version 1970 car at a reasonable price on Ebay.de. With some extra for shipping to me in Florida, it came to $56. It was advertised as 'heavily used condition' which reflected it's clean but somewhat warped pages and two missing corners in the warm up section. My German language version, which I bought on US ebay for a similar price is also a bit warped but intact. I figured manuals in non-native languages would go for less so I set up my searches that way and waited.

Still open to offers, rescue it from my file cabinet!
Hello, I have a 71 2800cs I would like to have that book for my baby for Christmas gift but I can not spend more than $200 you may sale that book for more than that but that's all I can do please PM me, thank you

I think an owner's manual for an E9 in that condition is probably worth the asking. An 2800CS owner looking for the piece de resistance for their perfect car will never find another.

What is even more valuable, in fact priceless, is the manual that originally came with the car complete with dealer and service stamps and the first owner's notes.
