I wonder who can tolerate this in their factory....oh wait the same 'gentleman' that design them....I would hazard a guess they are making their own network as that's probably who supports these designs.
Sorry, still looks like crap. What were they thinking with wheel arch covers? They look like ear flaps on a fur hat. Obviously not less is more, it's over wrought. And from their website, "The sides – contrapuntal elegance."
Joji Nagashima, who designed a couple of cars I own, did the last two drawings.
They did keep the Hofmeister kink.
In a survey of BMW enthusiasts the E9 was mostly associated with the Hofmeister kink, and in a close second place came the Cupertino spleen.

It can easily transition some of today's yutes and otherwise unaware, to appreciate the real deal=stock goes up. I'll suffer through this one with a smile.
I kinda like it. It is a better effort than the other homage that was conceptualized a couple of months ago. Lots of nods to the original but still its own car. The front kidney grills are over the top as are the "flaps" on the front, but you have to think that they wouldn't survive to a production model.

Ford motor company can smile with a sigh of relief, they still have done the best job with a tribute car with their Mustang. I had hoped for much better from BMW :o:o:o. ~ John Buchtenkirch
Right you are John. I was in a Ford dealership recently that specialized in Mustangs. The variety of skins and looking back while looking forward is impressive. Especially since Ford failed miserably with the now-dead Thunderbird. RIP. Better luck next time.
