3.5L M30 engine

when on a stand later on i will check compression , perhaps we already see there something.
For spinning it i can fill half oil/half diesel ? , that will clean it inside already a lot ….

was curious to have look inside this '76 engine …. big surprize
Oil pressure light works normal free spinning engine … so that looks OK
Compression test … all between 9 and 10 …. poor , but no big differences .

Took the head off... to see a "freshly" build i suppose :eek:…. almost new head gasket and no carbon deposits .
The piano tops have a grinding on the outlet side to "clean" from exhaust valve tapping , markings still visible… but not on the valves … a former accident ? very strange…. i see no dimples in the head … but height is approx 129 mm.

Can that block have so many miles that the chain tensioner is end his range and the chain "loose " ! ?
