318i fuel pump bolt on alternative

Hello to everybody. I have a fuel leakage from t'he pump, here i have found a lote of information. My intention was to use a 318i in tank fuel pump, but wen I checked my car i realized that t'he fuel tank is bold on type.

Si you Know a Bolt on type in tank fuel pump? I don,t want to drill or cut the tank

But de 318i fuel pump os bayonet type, and my fuel tank is Bolt on type. Thanks for your answer

If you're not inclined to extend the pickup tube, you can always get one of these:

That looks like a good idea under any circumstance.
 
When I had a CSi, I replaced my fuel pump with an external, E28 pump.

Electric fuel pump problem

The e28 in line pump is smaller in diameter then the original pump and the bracket will not work. You can order a bracket for an e12 inline pump which fits tight in to the mounting tabs under the car. The bracket is identical with 2 exceptions- 1.the e28 pump fits 2. The bracket also has a...

A lot less hassle and much much cheaper than the original CSi pump.
