You will have to do a little digging but.....apparently for 19K you can buy (2000cs,CS,CSi)

There are lots of issues but might be worth a look --

Agreed -- I did not post pictures but there are lots of parts and maybe one of them is possible to build.....

Seems eager to sell too so maybe a deal could be struck -- not for the faint of heart IMHO

Great to hear from you Don

Price is for all three!

Selling my three E9s, I acquired these vehicles over the last three years with hopes to build one solid E9. I no longer have the time to give the attention these cars need and just recently pulled them outside (they haven’t seen any rain since my ownership)

1969 Euro 2000 Cs has majority of its parts in the car, and some new parts such as calipers and rotors. no keys, lein sale paperwork

1972 Euro 3.0CSI vin verified and it still as the original fuel injection Bosch controller under the back seat. No interior or drivetrain. I believe this has the cleanest metal out of the three cars and the one I would complete. Lein sale paperwork

1972 Euro 3.0 CS very complete car! title, books and keys in hand. Was in an accident on the passenger rear and repair were poor so that corner suffers the most rust. I don’t have a title in hand for the 1st two but I do own a dealership and can easily sort it out. Priced to sell price for all three cars.

For forum history…
Rust and fire and a wreck is the situation.
All three are parts cars and not all parts are there.

Agree -- nice to have this as a reference point on the forum however....so others can check the VINS and know if a car was rebuilt from this lot.

It would take an expert + something north of 10K to get this all in order -- seller is down from 19 to 17K but still has a way to go IMHO...

The CSi definitely looks more solid than the rest, but the no title is a bugger.

And CSi parts getting purty darn $$$.

I think $12k is a decent buy for the ambitious dreamer if he's local and has a bunch of space for these heaps.

He's a dealer and they have lien sale packets. He signs a Statement of Facts saying that they've been off the road and you're good to go. I seriously doubt any of them are on the CA DMV system so that makes it easier. Lien packet is ownership, VIN verified, DMV takes your money...

Confusing to me. How do you know before you start a restoration that you will need to buy two other parts cars...and when you have little idea what the parts cars have for intact parts. I see a Markos de-construction thread X 3.

Black holes of cash, pain and anguish. Minimum spend of 100k to get one car out of this mess. Why not just buy a nice 100k coupe and be driving for 3 years before you get anywhere near the road with these heaps. And thats assuming you have intestinal fortitude to make it to the finish line...

For some it's the journey getting there. If someone has the talent and the time they could have a very nice coupe for less than $50k, easily. I like doing that kind of work, but I don't like the searching for parts side of it.
