i wish they would include the VIN - i have the numbers on the Inka + Taiga ... but couldn't find the Golf. i know that 2275361 was in Sweden in 2009. of course there are several other Germany owned golf CSL, others in other parts of the world that could have ended up in Sweden.

I believe it is the one on sale in my country. It had an asking price of 300k, and the restoration would not make me proud if I'd do it to my humble 3.0csa.

Some fixable stuff (aftermarket wannabe Alpina rim's) but also bodywork; the top fender seam was welded front to back with a mig welder; 3 foot of weld in a straight line with nice little weld blobs, surely the guy could weld better then me but it's supposed to have spotwelds there.

Now if it wasn't right in your face when you open the hood I could understand it, but not there, smack in plain view.

I'm more concerned with lifting it from the sills!

Could be wrong, but haven't they also replaced the "rifle butt" reinforcement plates under the wings the wrong way round i.e. left and right sides reversed?
